Intro to Hand Lettering Workshop with Bethany Meacham

In this Intro to Hand Lettering class, you'll learn everything you need to know to get started lettering from Bethany Meacham, a local hand lettering artist. Bethany will provide demonstrations & helpful insider tips from her 9 years of lettering experience. You'll get hands-on practice with plenty of time for Q&A along the way. No previous lettering experience is necessary. This is a fun intro class & perfect for beginners!

What you'll learn: *Everything you need to know to get started hand lettering What you'll go home with: *2 lettering brush pens *A copy of Bethany's lettering practice booklet (complete with upper and lower case practice pages for each letter of the alphabet) *Lettering papers to practice on at home *A list of recommended lettering supplies  

*Each student will get their own 8.5x11 Rhodia Dot pad (sponsored by Rhodia).

 

This is a prepaid ticketed event hosted Sunday, June 15th from 4:00-6:00pm at The Craftery. Tickets are $55 each. Drinks are not included in the ticket price, but the bar will be open & ready to serve.
