Derby Cookie Decorating Class with The Louisville Cookie Company

Sunday, April 27th from 4PMM to 6PM

Learn the art of cookie decorating in this Derby-inspired workshop! Nicki Rosati, local cookier & owner of The Louisville Cookie Company, will teach you the techniques, tips & tricks of decorating iced sugar cookies. With her guidance, you’ll decorate 4 cookies with swoon-worthy icing – the perfect way to kick off Derby!

This class includes:

All skills for cookie decorating 101
Beginner decorating techniques
Fail proof tips for icing consistency
Step-by-step designs for 4 Derby-inspired sugar cookies

You’ll leave with:

4 fully decorated iced sugar cookies
All the skills to ice & decorate cookies like the experts!

This is a prepaid ticketed event hosted Sunday, April 27th from 4-6pm at The Craftery. Tickets are $55 each (plus tax) & include 4 cookies per person. Drinks are not included in the ticket price, but the bar will be open & ready to serve.

Spring Garden Party with This Old Barn Flower Farm

Celebrate Mother’s Day with a hands-on floral arranging workshop at The Craftery Bar!

Join Melody from This Old Barn Flower Farm to learn the art of crafting beautiful bouquets using the freshest Spring blooms. Whether you are a beginner or a flower enthusiast, this class offers valuable tips on flower care, pairing and arranging techniques.

A $65 ticket includes: one mimosa, a glass vase, and an assortment of the most popular spring blooms including Peonies, Hydrangeas, Ranunculus, English Roses, Belles of Ireland, Sweet Peas and Snapdragons.

Charcuterie Workshop with Brown Sugar and Brie

Wednesday, May 7th from 6PM to 8PM

Celebrate Mom with a unique and memorable Mother’s Day! Gift her an evening of fun and flavor at The Craftery. Aubrey and Hannah from Brown Sugar and Brie will guide you through creating stunning charcuterie boards. Drinks will be available for purchase seperately at the bar.

Vintage Cake Decorating Class

Sunday, May 18th from 4PM to 6PM

In this hands-on class, you’ll learn from LyShanna Cunningham, owner of Shanna Cakes, how to create a stunning 6-inch, two-layer vintage round vanilla cake adorned with beautiful butterfly embellishments.

We’ll provide everything you need, from the pre-baked cake layers to all the frosting, decorations, and tools. You’ll master essential decorating techniques and leave with a gorgeous, personalized cake ready to impress your friends and family.
